    Visa processing times published

    http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/...timescustomers

    Go to page 137.

1 settlement application a month?, 100% processed in 120 days (6 months) worst case?

I thought there were much more.

    Cheers

Ben .... if I'm reading this correctly...

    Settlement Visa = Fiance(e) visa yes ?

... and they get on average 1 per month ??????

    ... and there is a 15 day turn-around ????

    Is this a joke ?

Fiancee visa is non settlement, which seems to be 60 working days, worse case.

I thought there were more like 40,000 visa applications in Manila in a year? This data set adds up to 18,000 applications in 1 year.

Oh, and there were 2,000 applications per month from Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong. Doubling the number of applications being dealt with in Manila.

Fiancee visa is settlement as well - you use the same form (VAF4) as a spouse/civil partner would use. The visa you get may be for only 6 months, but anyone applying is intending to settle in the UK.

    figures are wrong,,

    from a previous post -
settlement apps in 2005-2006 from manila was
    total 1920
    rejected 511
    27% !!! reject rate...

looks like they missed at l.east 2 0's off the end

40,000 could be right, as total visa apps for 2005-2006 was 35,000

I asked the question of the Consul from Manila, today, and she admitted that settlement visas are currently taking up to four months.
