Hi just want to ask what proof of no marriage certficate did your fiance submitted? we are applying for fiancee visa and we cannot figure out wat certificate to get, to prove that my fiance never been married...he is not allowed to get cert of non -impediment because we are not going to be married here.

Apply CENOMAR to your nearest NSO. Cenomar is a certificate means CertificATe of No Marriage or singleship certificate. That is one of the requirement to marry a foreigner.
About your hubby's certificate, he needs to apply in his nearest registry.
I have no problem with my CENOMAR i have it. our problem is my fiance's certificate, he is single, the CFO is asking me to bring the proof of no marriage of him. My fiance ask the Registry in england but they will not issue him the cert of no-impediment because he is not getting married here in the philippines.
so my question is wats the name of the certificate he is going to get to submit to embassy and cfo to prove that hes never been married? if he cannot get the no-impediment
May I ask which CFO center did u inquire about requirements, Sunshine? CFO centers have varied requirements aside from the regular ones. Why not try inquiring in a different center? They might not ask you for it coz its not in the list of requirements.

It's definately not in the list of requirements on the CFO website.
Also you could actually get issued with a fiancee visa whilst your British fiance was still in the final stages of a divorce and hence wouldn't actually be able to get anything to show he was free to marry.

For our application I didn't submit any documents to prove that I was not married. Not sure about the CFO requirements though.
When my wife applied for a fiancee visa she didnt provide anything to provide I had never married.

Same for us. Nothing included for visa application and not asked for or needed when my fiancee did her CFO about 3 weeks ago.
Your fiancee can ask the registry in UK to get you a letter stating he is not married, this is differrent from CNI.My Fiancee manage to get this letter from the registry office.

hi iam having the same problem so wot ive done now is registard to marry in the phillippines so can get the certivicate of inpendment iam sending it to my fiance as proof even tho we dont intend to marry there but that should still prove to cfo iam single then we will just reregistar to marry again in the uk when she comes so hopfuly that will work .
You don't have to re-register again to marry in the Uk, though you should register your marriage through the Philippines Embassy after your wedding.
There is no way you should need to do this though.
Hi we have sorted the certificate. I have attended the cfo last week without the proof of singleness off my fiance. The cfo cebu are rubbish they don't know what they are talking about someone should tell them that. I had a bit of argument with the conselor because she insisted on that certificate which my fiance cannot get in the uk, theres not such thing, the uk registry will not give any certificate of singleness if no intention of marrying in the philippines.
what you did was additional expenseyour fiancee in philippines can still attend the cfo and get the cfo certificate, she just have to explain to them and be assertive.
ye i no its cost me a bit more expence but to see the smile on my fiances face after all the upset it was worth it
I phoned the cfo Cebu last week and asked for the requirements and other procedures. And the clerk asked me if My Fiance has a Proof of Singleness,,and I said No i dont have that. And asked what type of Visa i have..and the Nationality. So I said Fiancee Visa and He is British. Then told her I have a Visa Already. And she let me get it and asked what class #^$*&$)_!&++#! (Allien Question)and i keep on pardon what she meant? And seems she is mad and think Iam stupid bcoz i cant answer her question and i cant find it in my Visa (about my Visa). Then her voice high Pitch and asked Is your husband is an Australian Right?????? And I said Noooo he is British and I mentioned that before. And she said ohh ok.Then calm down. )Bleeeeee at napahiya siya.) Really she seems not helping us lol. Dont even say sorry.
So she said as long as i will bring our Proof or relationships..Evidence.Like greetings card..pictures Letters...etc.
