Hi Ady, yes im done with my cfo counselling at cebu last week and they did ask proof of marital status of my fiance, i told the counselor the my fiance cannot get one (not CNI or even a letter). Then she started to get a bit angry because she said its one of the requirements. Seems she didnt believe that my fiance was telling the truth, i even show her the contact number of the registry in Leeds to prove that my fiance was telling the truth. The registry said its illegal to give any document because my fiance is not getting married in the Philippines. They really very strict not even a letter they will not give....The cfo counselor said she has no time in ringing them, she said its really up to me if i believe my fiance that he is telling the truth that he is really single!
she said they are only trying to help me. she also said that other uk applicants manage to get proof of singleness. How did they do that?
So in the end she did ask (1)our photo together and my fiance birth certificate. She also said that if my fiance cannot get any legal document to prove that he is really single, then we might have a probem with our visa application??? Is this true??

The only way for me to prove singleness is to get married and divorced
but Shei is going to the CFO next week so no idea. I guess I will tell Shei that, if ever she is asked, that the registries in the UK do not provide this, but here is the number of my local registry if they wish to ask further. Being as the interview happens 7am UK time, they will not get an answer anyhow! I will also tell Shei that, since she has a visa, the British Embassy know that I am single and that should suffice.
