How about JSA allowance of 60£/week? After a month I passed my ILR, I visited Jobcentreplus and asked if I am qualified for JSA in case I loose my job. They asked some questions how much I earned in my 2 years stay etc. I'll be qualified from January onward in case I loose my job.

I asked my hubby if I can still receive my JSA even I'm on my holidays to Philippines but he said NO, you need to sign every forth night
