At Last
At Last, at the fourth attempt, my darling wife Louella passed her driving test today. It's cost an absolute fortune, but at last, it's all been worth it. She has just arrived home and she was crying with both happiness and excitement when I opened the door and I knew before she told me even though she could hardly get the words out.
The only thing is, she trying to get me off the computer now so that she can search the internet for her first car already.

Many congratulations to Louella, Iain. Funnily enough, my late wife, Iris passed her test at the 4th attempt as well - and she turned out to be an excellent driver.

I remembered when I passed my driving test, I have to go to work that night, for the first time I have to drive alone and it was a bit scary, excited and nervous I even forgot to turn on my headlights and was driving for 2 minutes without lights..
Anyway, Congratulations Louellanow you have freedom, you can just hop in to your car anytime you had a fight with Ian

We had a bit of a tot up and we came to the conclusion that a conservative estimate for the whole thing, theory test and DVD's for the theory test, 4 test fees and sooooooo many lessons, all in all would probably come to between £4500 and £5000.That was one of my reasons.. Though the amount of money I've spent on driving lessons and running a second car would have easily covered the cost of taxis (or even stretch limos...) on the times I go drinking with my mates
