The only thing he should lose is the 25% single occupant discount. When you say "but all the benefits also",what other benefits do you mean?

I'm presuming he's receiving some sort of additional council tax benefit as well which he would lose.

one thing you do need to make sure of, is that he doesn't receive more money of any benefit's because your living with him.
