From what Louella went through with the theory test, which she failed the first time by the way, I can tell you that the hardest part to pass is the hazard perception, but you can get DVD's for the PC to practise it with.

    Hi Iain and Louella,

    Congrats on Louella's test pass.

Thanks for the warning, I will be giving a wide berth to Filipinas in Diablo Red Peugeot 206's..........!!!!!

She could have found an easier place to drive around. Coventry city centre can be a nightmare, even WITH a satnav !

She hasn't ventured into the city centre yet, she'll go miles out of her way to avoid it at the moment. I think when she's been driving around and about for about 3 or 4 months she should be ready to tackle it...... well maybe.

She will get more confidence in driving if you get her a small and reliable, easy to use SatNav.
Just program "Route Home" and the nearest car parks to where she may want to go shopping.

Not much of an idea, but it is a start.....

It's a nice little Peugeot 206 1.1 Style, 2003 with very low mileage, two previous lady owners in Diablo Red.

I must say the insurance gave me a bit of a shock at first, but after I added myself as a named driver, I managed to get it down to just under £600.

That's alright, Louella sometimes drives on the wrong side of the road as well, I think it comes from being Filipina. Oops, She'll kill me if she reads this.

"Killing Me Softly" by Roberta Flack
Strumming my pain with his fingers
Singing my life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly, with his song
I heard he sang a good song, I heard he had a style
And so I came to see him, and listen for a while
And there he was, this young boy, a stranger to my eyes
    (repeat chorus)
I felt all flushed with fever, embarrassed by the crowd
I felt he found my letters, and read each one out loud
I prayed that he would finish, but he just kept right on
    (rpt chorus)
Oh, oh, oh... La, la, la, la...
    (rpt chorus)
My lovely wife always sings in our room when she is getting changed etc.
I haven't the foggiest what she is singing about, but I really do feel better when she sings in her soft high voice........

Oh No, "Killing Me Softly" by Roberta Flack, that's Louella's favourite karaoke song. When she reads this, she'll start singing it over and over again for days on end.

I drive artics for a living and see so many bad car drivers every day.
If she is safe she'll be OK.
It's the boy and adult-racers that are the problem.
    They all have death-wishes
