I really laughed at the 'Viagra' and Nuns' &c. jokes submitted yesterday. How about THIS one ... though I suspect it will be best appreciated by my fellow countrymen/women:
Q. What d'you call a prostitute who takes 90 minutes to conduct
her business?
A. A hoor and a half!
Explanatory Footnote For The Sassenachs and others unacquainted with the
style of language most often used north of Berwick Upon Tweed.
N.B. 'Hoor' is the Scots' terminology employed to descibe a 'whore' or "street lady"; likewise it is sometimes utilised [phonetically] by the said natives when referring to a period of sixty minutes - as in an 'hour'. I hope this now makes sense.
