u will find gabi in a chinese supermarket sis, and u can get raddish in tesco also
It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good to check up once in a while to make sure you haven't lost the things that money can't buy.

I use spring onion instead of leek. Will try leek next time. I used red raddish but no carrots

I just planted my kangkong, okra, talong, ampalaya, pechay and chilli in our greenhouse yesterday. I'm excited for my new filipino recipe in a month or so
Are u planning to make Pakbet Penny?

Thank you Adam & Chryss. Pok Choi is another gd alternative, I agree We usually get gabi (Baby Taro closest we can get) and raddish (Mooli) in Tesco.

    Hi Mavid,

I have shown the video to my husband and asked him if i cook sinigang what does he prefer the pork belly (liempo) or the short ribs and he prefers the latter. I haven't tried it yet.

It was funny bec whilst we were viewing it i thought my computer needs to be sorted out. It was really like that! like the chipmunks voice.

Thanks Mavid for posting it. I miss sinigang already.

I hope so Mavid. I was told by a filipina friend she said her English husband doesn't like sinigang. It looks like "pinaghugasan ng pinggan" (the water in the basin left after washing the dishes). Well, not everyone is gourmet.

I will try my very best to make it perfect so he will like sinigang. but if he doesn't like it, i will eat them all. Thanks for the tips Mavid. I told him that is your fiance cooking. He was impressed....

You're welcome. Would be glad to see more videos esp Emy included. Hey Friend post that beautiful video...

Yea i was surprised too by hearing his comments. There was a filipina who doesn't want to eat mashed potato. She said it looks like baby food for the teething babies bec it is so soft.

I've just watched your Boracay video...I really enjoyed it.
It looked a bit windy. We just missed a typhoon luckily, when we went.

I'm going to watch the others too...I'm sure the other members will be interested...Thanks

Yes, I love pakbet, Will cook monggo with ampalaya leaves, beef nilaga and tinola

I bought 2 ampalaya at Edinburgh a week ago and it cost 7£ Sayote is cheaper and talong is 7£/kilo. It cost 100£ to complete my recipe

That's why I prefer to plant Philippine veggies during summer

To all filipina wives, time to plant this month

    I enjoyed your other videos
