    Question Miscellaneous Artefacts

Much has been said in favour of the 'tabo versus toilet paper'. I wonder if my mention of two other "cleaning up" implements, viz:- the 'Grass Hook' and the 'Coconut Stick Broom' is likely to provoke a rush of responses from native Filipinos in particular and/or others in the know? Are either - or both - of these peculiar to the Phils, or would I be correct in thinking that the former is a type of scythe? Then again, how about the gardening tool known as a 'bolo?

Since I arrived here I used walis tingting to sweep the yard. Its good and don't mind the neighbor if they asked me why.I explained to them.

Bolo is good garden tools especially for cutting and chopping small branches. I'd like to have one here in England but its difficult to bring in, I just used cleaver instead or butchers knife.
    Regards,

    Ping
