Spouse Visa approved in 6 weeks

    Folks,

My sister-in-law finally got her visa. It took 6 weeks, but i assume that is because her previous rejected visit visa was overturned by the judge through an appeal, which may have helped speed up the current spouse application process. Or perhaps, its quicker now generally.

    Cheers

It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good to check up once in a while to make sure you haven't lost the things that money can't buy.

Congratulations to your Sister In Law!!

And to add to that my wife and Step Daughter have both just been given their settlement visas. They applied on Feb 23. We also have our own biological daughter who we were able to register as a British Citizen a few years back. So there was no need for her to apply for a visa thank God!

Just the CFO to go through now then at long last I can look forward to the day when the three of them walk through the arrivals hall at Birmingham airport and we finally become a family living together and not seperated by 6000 miles!

I found this forum by using a search engine and thank God I did because it has been a wealth of experience from people who have been there and done it all before. I really do think that without the knowledge I have gained from this forum our visa applications would have failed. So thank you all!!!!

Can you say why the first was not allowed, was it a visitor visa that was rejected and then a settlement visa approved?
I am pleased your sister in law has a visa now, all the best to her and her family.
