I've got a photo somwhere of myself and the other members of the band that I was with at the time with Cliff Richard. It was taken in Dundee in about 1972-3. We were up there doing a tour for the Variety Club of Great Britain because we were working for the Mecca organisation at the time. Cliff and the other members of his tour were staying at the same hotel as we were and we all met up after our respective shows.

It's quite strange when I think about it now because Cliff's support act on that tour was Olivia Newton-John, who I also met. We also met Brian Bennett the former Shadows drummer who was Cliff's drummer and musical director for that tour.
