It would have been nice to attend to these events, making us less homesick...

unfortunately, there's none in scotland so far

Hello Islander, Mick here, I am on an Island at the other end of the country from you, so I dough there will be any we can get to easily, but if my wife is struggling when she finally gets here, I will just have to stay over somewhere so we can get to some events.
Perhaps others fro Scotland will see your post and you can start a mini meet up? You never know, I do realise how important friendship is to most Filipina’s.
    All the best,
    Mick.

    this coming Saturday / Sunday.

Any idea of the type of attendence numbers ?

... and more importantly, if someone lives around there, what is the
    parking like ?
Can u park (legally .. with no restrictions) in Hillcross Avenue, Morden Lane
    or other surrounding roads ?

    Thks in advance

Free parking on sundays, saturdays is around 80p-£1 an hour off the top of my head

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.
