I get so embarassed by the British Gov. The price of a visa for Spain is around 4,000 P.

A British passport, in Spain is almost 200 euros, a Spanish ten year passport is 16.95 euros. Also, a Spaniard gets his/her passport at the National Police in the nearest major town.

VFS is also the reason ,why british embassy increased the fee, they have to pay the agency let say 50/50 just silly thought..but if it is considerable reason ,then great

That's strange, we paid 46,350 for Fiancee Visa last August. Didn't realise prices ever went down. Is Phils in deflation? Surely it's not linked to Sterling exchange (?)

In Spain the cost of re-newing a UK passport has gone down a little because of the exchange rate against the euro (info from Brit Consul, Malaga). So it may apply to other things elsewhere too.

    FX Rates

    Guys/girls...
Wouldn't hold your breath on the price falling.

Remember .... the stable part is the £585 cost of the fiancee visa
The "variable" part is the £/peso Forex rate...
.... which the Embassy in Manila amend/adjust monthly.

And .... looking at the current quoted prices over 1m, 2m & 3mnths
    £/US$ is looking very stable...
and the peso is looking to weaken vs US$...

... so... meaning that these "prices" are likely to be with us for quite
    a few months.

It is really different when we applied for a fiancee visa back 2 years ago..

    26,000 php to 42,120

but i take it we will just get the same sticker that ive got also

    Goodluck on the application Florge
It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good to check up once in a while to make sure you haven't lost the things that money can't buy.
