I was a 12 year old when that happened. Kids the same age as me, going to a football match and not coming home. Everytime I see or hear about it, about the gross incompetence of the policing that day, it really makes me angry and sad.

A terrible tragedy. Rest in Peace the 96 who lost their lives watching a game of football.

Hi Again Friends... I have never been and never will be a football fan the game just does not do anything for me but.... I remembered watching it on T.V. in horror as a Policeman was trying to put a mans hair out...and watching people walking over people on the ground too escape, how strange the images you remember.....

But when I ever hear that song Never Walk Alone...I feel a sad and heavy heart and even a tear for these men, women and children , entire families gone for ever....whose only sin was to be in the wrong place at the wrong time... " God Bless Them"...Phil..

You memory isn't that good then, I think you are confusing it with the Bradford fire disaster, another farce by the authorities.

    HTML Code:
Culture Secretary Andy Burnham has called for a "full disclosure" of all evidence on the Hillsborough Disaster in which 96 Liverpool fans died.
Yeah, only after he was heckled, tho...

Liverpool's a Labour stronghold anyway, so won't make any difference.

I can understand the fact of Liverpool being a labour bastion, but in my mind it does not excuse the use of such intense grief for political ends.

That day I was at Wimbledon spurs match that Saturday Afternoon

I was only a youngster then and was hearing the announcments over the tannoy trying to keep in contact with my Mates in the crowd as the Terrace swayed. I think Paul stewart, when he still pretended to be a forward, managed to score a goal that day, which being a rare site many surged forward to try and catch a glimpse of

Many in the Spurs end rembered the near Tradgey Tottenham had in 1981 at Hillsborough in a Semi Final.

People told me that Tottenham Fans tried to submit evidence at the Taylor report but were not allowed. It was found out that the Safety cert was I understand out of date in 1979 and nothing was changed by the time. The fans of Liverpool met there terrible fate.

Three of the biggest memories of non Tottenham-England games I have of the Eighties are of Bradford,Heysel and Hillsborough

So many Peoples Lifes lost and affected by these three events, and all due to at least in part due to lack of investment by those cashing in on the Peoples game
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops
