I have indeed been to tawi2 kimmi,spent three months several years ago staying with a badjao family in Sitangkai,travelled around sulu&jolo,went back-door to Sabah etc.

Tawi tawi is supposed to be very beautiful isn't it?...Like you say it's too dangerous these days.
I've been down into Bukidnon province & would like to go to Davao, but that's as far south as I think I'd go?

We have a member on here, who's lived in Zamboanga for 4 years, said there are kidnappings every fortnight.
Haven't heard from him for a while, as I think he was having marital problems?...Hope he's alright?

Tawi2 is beautiful,even went to a village called tong-tong built out at sea on a shallow reef which was an awesome place,I am in Davao every year for araw ng dabaw,zambo is charmless,nothing much there nowadays except Pilar fort,there are lots of kidnappings but I have been in places such as afghanistan and am always aware of my own personal security
