Please help! mistake in online application

Hi. I have just finished the online application form and printed it off. I reviewed it before i finalized but obviously i overlooked the mistake coz when i reviewed again the printed form, i saw a mistake and i read you cannot change it anymore, oh no! anyone experience this? or am i the only one

I noticed in the form it said "payment made: no" when i already paid the visa fee last friday Apr 17. will it not show? I paid first before i applied online because originally i printed off a hard copy of the application form.

I also noticed that the forms are not the same, the application form online is VAF4, while the latest hard copy of application form i got is VAF4A DEC2008. I'm confuse now, does anyone have any idea about this? Sharing of similar experience is appreciated.

Hi Sunshine, I just applied Settlement Visa (Fiancee) recently and I did not use the Online application, so not aware of that matter but I advice you to fill up the latest application form which is VAF4A then tell to the VFS officer about the mistake from your Online application and just submit instead the hardcopy (handwritten) application form IMO.

All other visa categories can fill-up an online application form by logging on the visa4uk.fco.gov.uk website and handing it in at the Visa Application Centre or download a hardcopy of the Visa Application Forms from the UK Border Agency website .

If you made the payment, then that will be recorded with the application center, so they will probably notice the error. Just do a short note explaining your error when you submit your docs and proof of payment.

Thank you peps! i will just bring the two application forms and ask the vfs which form is correct I am so excited to submit my documents coz its been stressful checking and reviewing it, nervous, making sure im doing it correctly lol but the earliest appointment i got is Apr28
