hi rutch, mostly its just within an hour specially if traffic is good, but don't count on it
we know how terrible the traffic is in the metro, so i suggest you allot 2 hours for your travel time from naia to embassy....
that way, you are sure to be there on time or even earlier, after all, its better to be too early than too late......

For your information, the embassy opening times

Monday-Thursday: 02:30pm-03:30pm - for collection of British passports, CNIs and Birth Registrations only.

The British Embassy Floor 15-17 L V Locsin Building 6752 Ayala Avenue Corner Makati Avenue 1226 Makati City Metro Manila Philippines

plss helppppppppppp
You should go to McKinley Hill, Taguig City - the British Embassy moved from Makati Avenue a while back.
Like anything you see on the Internet on 'unofficial' web sites (even ones as good as british-filipino) you always should double check the information with official sources as the unofficial sources can get out of date.
Hello Rutch. If I may add, i know how you feel. I too had those dilemma. I recently got married last 3rd of May. So I used to have the same questions too. I just wanna share my experiences...
Just before hubby arrived. I have to get all the necessary requirements. First thing is my cenomar. It takes about 2wks processing time. My husband arrived at around 8pm saturday. At early monday morning, we arrived at exactly 7:45am at the british embassy. It took us about an hour to get there. We hired a van that cost us 2k php for that day with a driver that travel within metro manila- bacoor. That's from bacoor to 'the fort' in taguig where the british embassy resides. Pls bring your id and your cenomar, and your bf's CNI, and his passport, the interviewer may ask that to both of you. We were escorted to the main building and was interviewed both briefly. We were asked to wait for an hour, but we got the certificate within 30mins only. So we headed straight to the local municipality and submitted the requirements for our marraige license application. Hope this helps... do keep us updated. Cheers. xx

Check the embassy website for latest exchange rates and fees
At the moment the cost of the CNI is £63 with an exchange rate of £1=P82, therefore fee is 5,166
also remember BRITISH public holidays our embassy is shut and must wear suitable clothing to go inside no shorts vests ect i took a pair of shoes with me when i went there but smart sandells were acceptable and its very cold inside for a pilipina bring a cardigan
Hallo rutchzzz143 this is the old address of the British Embassy Floor 15-17 L V Locsin Building 6752 Ayala Avenue Corner Makati Avenue 1226 Makati City Metro Manila Philippines , They are in their new address which is British Embassy 120 Upper McKinley Road McKinley Hill Taguig City 1634 Philippines. You can have the uk cni of your fiance be converted to the local cni there in no time at all. Dont forget to make your fiance bring his birth certificate and passport as well as bring also your cenomar. The (Certificate of No Impediment) CNI of your fiance is his version of your cenomar. Its a proof of his singleness. Good luck on your wedding soon. Au au Inday.
