yes except family permit ones are processed as a priority first, also work permits and visit visas are at the front to

    Hi trader dave,

I really hope they do not keep you waiting after that.
Ours were submited on 16th April and still nothing!
    All the best.

    Hello Rob&Lol2009,
No no news here, our was submitted 16th April.
Have just checked the online checker as I do every morning, but I know there will be nothing, I switch my phone on every morning while coming too in bed and I know my wife would text as soon as she recived the text from the embassy.
We are now coming up to the 15th week.
Plus there must be earlier April applacations, we do not hear of any being granted do we?
    Mick.

Send a letter to Phil Woolas Dave, tell him you will overlook the £1.19 he claimed on womens Tampons, the ladies clothing he claimed for, even the bottle of red wine he claimed for from Tesco during the recent MP's expenses debacle, but tell him to pull his finger out and do what he is paid to do,give him your details, ask him to look into the case(could you also ask why a guy needed tampons,I have a horrible idea why,it just made me shudder)

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

    Hi all,
I think most of us feel we should be complaining but I can only speak for myself that I am worried that could mean more problems and a possible longer delay!
    I do feel helpless.
    Mick.

    I was thinking the same.
Who in the Philippines UK embassy do we need to address our letters to?
Who is the top bloke and what is his address?
What are we paying £600 for? It definitely isnt anything to do with good service. If I told one of my customers he wasn't getting his order within the promised 3 months, and that it would be closer to 4 months (and more) then all hell would break loose.
(Wouldn't bother with local politicians about anything)

    Hi all,
Can and how could we ask one of the Moderators what they think on the waiting times at present, I realise there is nothing direct they can do, but advice on how we as individuls should approach this would help a lot.
In my case my wife settlement visa applacation was placed on the 16th April we are now in week 15.
It is the "not knowing" of any progress except the first passed to the "British High Commision"message that is like a mental tourture!
I have phoned twice and emaild twice but have not been told anything that helps.
How can we plan when this just keeps going on day by day?
    Mick.

We start week 11 tomorrow. I assume it will take another 3-6 more weeks at current stats. I hate this waiting and pity we can't get priority but this gov always does things back to front.

Looks like there's going to be a flood of visa announcements in the next week or so.
