Actually, I was very impressed with the service from my MP. He responded immediately to my letter, stating his intention to pursue the matter with the UK Border Agency. A few weeks later he wrote again, attaching the response from the Chief Executive of the UKBA.Originally Posted by joebloggs

The main reason for writing the letter was to formally register my objection. It was good that they took my complaint seriously and responded.
If enough people object, they might consider reducing the charges, especially if they realise it will end up costing them votes!
