    Smile No Broadband

    Hi guys.

As the title suggests, I do not have Internet access at the moment, apart from one of those Glode Roaming Broadband Stick things which is, frankly, useless.

It has taken about 20 mins for this page to load up.

Anyone know of a good BB provider here in Cebu? Smart, Globe and PLDT are all c**p?

    Yours for a beer,

    Al.

I use smart broadband back home and my internet connection was quick and uninterrupted while a few of my friends has been complaining that they have very bad connection using globe broadband. I hope that helps.

I'm using pldt dsl. I can download a 2Gig game in less than 20mins. I can watch streaming videos without pauses. That is fast enough for me.

For UK standard, yeah. But we live in a 3rd world country, we can't have better than that right now.

Possibly faster than many UK households actually get unless they have fibre or live on top of the Exchange.

I know many people domestic and professional who can get good test results but in real everyday use get nothing like the performance 24/7

I know a few years back the missus when in phill had a fairly low advertised rate but was actually not bad in real everyday use.
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops

Thanks for all your advice guys.

    I wanna sell you a Tory...........sorry..........tell you a story!

Yesterday afternoon went to SM - Smart - ordered Broadband. This morning - men came - installed - brill!!!

Credit where it's due, Smart came and installed my Broadband in less than 24 hours. Great service!!

By the way, why do they call it an occasional table when it's ALWAYS there???
