I want to eat those pancit!

I've just done 10 hours work, and all I got for my tea was a portion of chips with sweetcorn and chicken kiev How I wish I could eat filipino food.

Even as Britains craziest optimist I have to admit I feel rather jealous and miffed that my Filipina wifey has not yet cooked me these dishes.. the truth is she doesn't have time no more...she still cooks me an afritada or chicken adobo now and then though!

    Nigel,
Give it a time... I assure you, she will come round to that some day (Take it from a newbie like me...) I honestly did struggle when it comes to cooking. I refused to cook, I hated cooking, I hated everything... My motto once upon a time was: "Fools prepare, wisemen eat!"

But then when I came to UK, things have changed (no more mommy & maids to cook for me)...

I was the fool who wants to eat yet there's no one to cook! haha! I am not ashamed to tell you that...lol... Now I am loving this whole new world of cooking! My husband is loving me more too hehehe
