I am one of the lucky few that loves his job of over 19 years.
Though I work in the travel industry, I still pay full fare for my flights, to ensure I don't fly standby, but this will be my 4th visit in a year, lol
It has been said on this forum that we need more time together, but my visit dates have been staggered!
I suppose it's just as well 'till my divorce comes through, as her mum does not like me very much coz of this.
Then again, she is an angry bitter woman.
I bet if i look under her hair when she's sleeping I will see 666 tattooed on her head

Still, whatrver happens Roni will be here with me next year
me and the misses have been up since 4:30am, she's suppose to be studying for a big final exam next week , but is doing everything but studying - as little joe woke up the same time

don't like me job, even worse cannot stand a couple of people i work with

at least your g/f's mom didn't send you a letter telling you to most mother in laws, their bark is worse than their bite !

it was written nicely thou , shes ok now, just didn't want her daughter hurt. thou we are coming up to being married 7yrs, and that's a number thats haunted me

we've not been to the phils for more than 4yrs, maybe later on this year

Well Joe, yes I agree with you on the Mother in law bit.
    Wow, 7 yrs, how nice.
Can't wait to get back there.
Am an old romantic at heart, and just love to see here happy
She is more happy to the fact that I just lent her sis 400 quid for her studies, lol
Ohh well, at least my friendly contact at Brit Air shd be able to get me business class to HK, so I can get a good nights sleep.
I always take the 10:20 flight out, arrive HK, then cebu pacific to manila, sleep overnight, and fly down to Cagayan.
That's the plan anyway, as cebu pacific have a deplorable record for delays
I always factor in delays etc, as it's the adventure part of traveling.
If i didn't think that way, I wd pull all me hair out, what's left of it anyway
I just booked my overnight Hotel in Manila for 32 quid, and a real nice Hotel at that.
    I always use Agoda.com
Their service is priceless, and they have a reward program too

oh the mother in law was nothing compared to her dad, who told me he had a gun named after each of his 4 kids

first time i went to the phils was with british airways, it was a good flight and service, from manchester to heathrow i think, then to HK and then to manila

pitty not many airlines go to the phils anymore. (british airways, air france, etc (air france £380 return from MANC to MNL those were the days, use to go 3 times a yr then)

I booked thu British Airways+Cathay Pacific combination Joe but sad to say they have no more price like that. That's really amazing price. I can afford to visit my loving Mom even twice a year.

penny, for many of my trips to the phils, i went air France, and for most i paid only £380, but that was like 6yrs ago

my only time with BA cost me more than 50% more than any other airline, but they were the only one who had tickets still as it was near xmas time .

What you want to do is get your favourite sister to work at Heathrow and get yourself on her "Friends and Family" list, you wouldnt believe how cheap some of your flights are,as I am sure your aware Fitzy

    Nice 1 mate!!

    Good thought, Lol

I get a BA Hotline ticket for around 350 quid to HK then cebu pacific HK Manila and back for 53 quid.
Can't go wrong, as am using this option this August
I was BA serving staff before, so still get some perks, but wd never take the cheaper option of going standby!!
Don't wana get jammed up in HK for several days not getting on, as it wd work out more expensive, and my boss wd have myfor not returning to work on time.

    Cheers..

Notice sometimes how threads can drift off topic heheheh?

Here is a good tip Joe!
If you shop at Tesco, convert your points to Airmiles(owned by BA).
They are worth 60 miles per two pound 50!
Many many stores are now enrolled in the Airmiles scheme now, including eBay!!
I earn a free flight to HK every 3 yrs.
    Just a thought mate
