For us, visiting/travelling/remitting to the Philippines, it's good news.
BUT for those applying for visas it's (technically) bad news.
A £/peso rate of 80 = 46,800p for a fiancee visa
A £/peso rate of 90 = 52,650p
However, as it's "us" that's paying (and not the Filipina girlfriend/fiance)
the good news is .....
... it's still the same extortionate £585 !
