God grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people i had to kill because they pissed me off.

As someone who can't cook/won't cook, my first thought was an alarm clock, but somehow it wouldn't be funny.

I had an Aunt Bessie ... my mother's elder sister. The only thing that's "wrong" with her is she's DEAD!

Rochelyn just put Bamii (can't spell this but it is noodles, like pancit canton) into the microwave for 15 minutes.
I smelt a little burning and came down to see her laughing so much when she showed me the brown hard meal.....
Ah, the joys of showing my wife the pleasures of our machines.

I think she thought it would be similar to cooking over the gas flame, time-wise.

"It's a little bit more powerful, dear".
Well, another chance to give her a wee kiss.....

You're not alone Alan. When Keith made Yorkshire, it did not rise either.
I just couldn't tell the difference as I haven't tried and seen one before.

We had a full roast last week here in the boondocks..The Yorkshire was so high I couldn't get it out of the oven..Only thing missing was mustard.. what can you do?
You want to get smoke coming off of the oil before you add the mix..

You still coming over Alan?? I`ll give you a call.

I don't think this is the problem.

Maybe the oven is not hot enough...

Maybe too much oil or fat in the moulds.

Maybe the mix is too thin.

Maybe you just suck at cooking....!!!!

Another factor could be the flour used.
If it is Filipino flour, the chances are that it will be mixed with banana flour and other stuff.
If it is imported from New Zealand or Oz, you will find that it will not be similar to UK or European flour at all.

How difficult can it be, I get it right by mistake...!!!!

My fave was Boddingtons - until, I believe, Whitbread took them over. Now, give me a good real ale.
