Batanes is a very nice Island. In 1980's there was zero crime rate in that place. Wish the same by now. It's a very quiet place with friendly people.

Just telling true I have some friends from there and they are very low profile. And when I was in Taiwan, I have seen Batanes Island from Kenting Kaoshiung Taiwan How I wished to swim back home
