It's not allowed as only official sponsorship is allowed now. You need to have the money in an account in your name (could be joint with someone else) for 30 days prior to your application.

I've seen suggestions that the UK government is being tougher on students and checking that the course is of benefit to them rather than being an excuse to come to the UK to work. You may have to be able to provide good evidence of why you want to switch careers. Also bear in mind that even on an NVQ you are only allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours a week (including any work which is part of your course).

I'm sorry for having a lot of questions...I just need some ideas to enlighten me regarding this matter...what do you mean an official sponsorship? are you referring to the university where i supposed to enroll? does it mean that my aunt cannot be considered as my sponsor as i study there in UK?

Sponsorship can only be by a government or an international scholarship agency, not by an individual (relative, etc).

Your aunt could help you by lending you the required money up front (at least GBP7000/PHP550K) for you to have whilst you apply. You can then return the money to her once your application has been processed and assuming your application is successful she can then provide you with a monthly allowance once you are in the UK.

Thank you for your reply. It means a lot. But again, i still have a few questions...You mention before that the account should be under my name or i should be joint with someone else. What if the account is on my aunt's and mother's name? Will they consider that? I had my own account, but the amount is not enough as they required. I really appreciate your reply. God bless!

Your name must be on the account, though it can be joint with someone else. An account just in your mother's and aunt's name is no good.

"Your money must be held in cash. Shares, bonds, pension funds or similar savings accounts will not be accepted."

If you can't withdraw the money immediately then I suspect it won't be acceptable - probably best to have a checking account.
