Thats not actually true Florge,get hold of the book "A cultural perspective of cockfighting in the Philippines" it explains the full history of sabong(a word of malay origin)which was already established in Pinas when the spanish arrived,it is speculated to have been brought to pinas by malay or indonesian migrants,the earliest recorded cockfight was in 1212AD on Panay![]()
