Original Documets Required?

I'm applying for my girlfreind a fiance visa and preparing the required documents; bank statements, mortgage statement, emplyment letter etc but not sure if these should be originals or if copies will be enough. Didn't seem to specify on the vfs site.

Anybody know about this one please?

Originals, plus they require a photo-copy.

They'll inspect the originals, then hand them back to you (or your
fiancee when she submits them)

NB.... you can "blank out" your account numbers re:bank statements

all documents are original ECO don't accept photo copy documents and you need to submitt your yearly income tax, evidence of your relationship and your house bills such as electricity, gas ,water and landline phone and etc. goodluck!

As I remeber some of the bank statements we submitted were sent to me by my husband and scanned it printed it Might changed nowadays.
