UK Mobile ?

Good Morning All,

I recently had one of those phone upgrades.from my "Orange" network provider.... I kept the old battered "Samsung D600" and they gave me one of the new superslim Samsung 800 ( Cant remember the exact model numb ) models......Ive now decided that the new one is a bit on the "Girlie" side for my macho image , so Ive gone back to my old scruffy (Tom Cat lookin) D600 , as Ive heard the ladies like a bit of Rough !....................... My question is , if I take the new "Samsung" over to Phil for my girlfriend to use will it be compatable to the system etc over there ?.......it will be my first visit this coming Dec and I know all about the place , other than what you guys tell me..

hi kerrion,
i am with vodafone contract and mailed my old fone to my fiancee and it had no problem accepting her globe and smart card,so possibly ok,but u can check with orange if they are accepted.

Hello Kerrien,

Mabuhay! My husband gave me his mobile (motororola)while we were still in the Phils. We brought it to the cell shop to make it "open-line" so that i will be able to use it. I hope this little info helps! Cheers!
