Congratulations!. Fatherhood will change your life.... in a good way!
But as some of the other posters have advised, it's probably best to have the baby here in the UK if you can. After considering having it in the Philippines, we decided to have our baby here and it went really well. The local NHS hospital and maternity staff were all brilliant.
If you go to a decent hospital in the Philippines, it can get expensive. My sister in law had a few complications and the final bill was huge!
