I do my adobo in the same way wether it is pork or chicken
1kl pork/chicken
1 onion chopped
1 ginger finely chopped
1/2 cup water
1 cup soy sauce
1/4-1/2 cup vinegar
3 cloves garlic
1 bay leaves
ground pepper
On a medium heat,put the ginger, onion, pork/chicken and 1/2 cup water to boil give a stir every now and then for 30 mins to make sure that the juice of the ginger sinks into the meat. Add the garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, pepper and bay leaves cover until the meat is tender. U can also add a pineapple sliced to give it flavour.
