Life can be happier & less stressful if we remember one simple thought..We can't have all that we desire, but prayers will give us all that we deserve.God bless everyone!

We just met last week together with Adam and Chryss as well as Maria and Matt, Dorres is too busy in her new job, too tired to log on, but at least she is happy that finally she find a job.

I am also waiting in my CRB bunso, 2 weeks now

We apply for CRBs for our staff regularly. Providing everything is straightforward it will not take very long but if there is anything in your background requiring further investigation then delays can be lengthy. Only you will know.
By the way the system will change next year! At the moment we, as the employer, have to obtain a CRB for every employee irrespective of whether they were previously checked by another employer. That does not though stop them working in the meantime, only that they must be supervised. Next year employees will be expected to obtain their own "CRB" (it will be called by another name) and carry it from job to job as a type of passport. And guess what? The cost more than doubles and the Government says "employers are expected to assist new employees with the cost"! Another tax on business!

Yes David, it seems to be getting worse and worse. I remember when I first started employing teachers it was just a 'Police Check.' I used to phone our local 'bobby' and give him/her details of the teacher(s) I had interviewed and have a clearance (or otherwise) within a couple of days.
Then, of course, it became CRB - more expensive and up to six weeks!!

    Progress?!?!?!
