Indeed one of the most important tasks is to get the Phones unlocked by the provider as soon as they allow. Always best myself and others have found on newer unlocking via the provider rather than by a market stall etc.

Most provide the service free, but is another factor to consider when taking out a contract i feel. As two phones a year sorts out the little bro and sis plus when they upgrade the work phones and suggest to save on cost and logsitics that we take to a recycle place our selfs
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops

I see they not only have complaints with the Iphone heat, but they battery doesn't even last a day if you use it for what it was designed for

My phone has done what the Iphone does for the last 3 years, and much more, works on any network, battery is 3 days (2 if you leave wifi, bluetooth, and the GPS on). In fact HTC have had these phones out for 5 years (previous without GPS), and the new version is even better. http://www.htc.com/uk/product.aspx

This proves 2 things, Apple are great marketers, and people are gullible.

At work someone brought in a iphone latest what have you and at first we all crowded round well beats work

it can play songs (umm ok) it has iplayer (umm ok), it can browse the interweb (umm ok) we were struglling now to be intrested.

So someone piped up can you multi task (all the major reviews mention this) I thought surely this is just the anti apple people. But its true its unable to run more than one application at a time!

No email, twitter client(that ones for rob) either reading, composing or just runing in the background, music playing, creating a sms, taking pictures/video while browsing the web and downloading torrents (thats for Joe) plus other applications and widgets open.

My year old Nokia can have all those apps running at once and jump between them.
Which you may think why but trust me actually useful in realife.

Now why does the iphone have no easy to use gmail imap client they share board members
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops

Even my cheap nasty LG phone can make calls and run Skype or Windows Messenger at the same time.
