Visa Application: Personally or Thru an Agency?

I just like to know what is the most effective and fastest way for visa application/approval. Is it going thru all of it by doing it yourself or seeking an assistance thru an agency or consultancy firm?

If there is an agency, what is the best agency in Manila for visa assitance?

    Thanks guys!

    hi Jam,

i think it will be better if u do it personally rather than with an agency it is just a waste of money..

as long as u followed all the documents stated on their checklist and u listen to some of the advises on here I dont see any reasons why u cant do it by your own. If we managed to do it and have our visas am sure u can do it too..

Btw, what kind of visa u plan to apply? Goodluck..

    Hi Jam,

In my own opinion, it doesn't make much difference if you use an agency or you just do it by yourself. If you have all the papers required, then there's no necessity for an agency to lodge them for you. Just the same, you're the one who would sit on an interview and not the agency.

I suggest that you just complete the documents needed and add as much supporting documents as possible.

No need for agencies, they even charge higher claiming to expedite the processing of your papers
when you can do it yourself just as quick and at a lesser cost.....

that depends on what type of visa you are applying. i used to work in a recruitment agency and we specialize on recruiting healthcare personnels. personally i wouldn't bother applying it thru an agency if it is purely personal i.e fiancee' visa or settlement because like what others said it will just cost you. but if it is purely employment or something similar i'll let the agency deal with all the hassle.

i used to work with ipams, if you want an honest agency i suggest you go on to poea's website (if it is employment) but i can't really recommend any other if it's not employment related. we don't charge a fee (because we charge the employer).
