    to all pet owners

i know that we all love our pets, they are like a member of our family.. but what is the real cost of having a pet these days...?

i just dont want to think about the amount of money we spend on our dog

a few quid is an understatement

    grooming every 6 weeks -£30
food - about 25 per fortnight
    special shampoo - 19/month
    vets

    it all adds up

Actually Maria's dog is smart you know, when we are all eating on the dining table, the dog is outside the door of the lounge, watching tv for few minutes, like a real person
And they say, when Chryss and Adam arrive, the dog kiss the baby of Adam/Chryss w/o the knowledge of the parents hahaha, cause the parents busy chatting, while the baby is at lounge area

    So clever

grooming ? never spent a penny on that

£12.50 a week what you feeding it i spend about £5 a week

shampoo never shampooed the dog, tried to bath it once it took 3 of us to hold her legs and nearly killed her and us doing it

vets, had to take her once, cost me £1100+, suppose not bad for once in 12yrs

by the way my dog is a full bloolded shar-pei, has very short fur and doesn't need bathing, thou my mom never believe that.

my dog is similar to this one..

hahaha... yes our ruby goes to the grooming parlour every 6 weeks! as for the shampoo she uses malaseb only coz she has sensitive skin as for the food she eats science plan proven, and treats, so she is roughly on 12-13£ a week... and insurance is about 25/month, i say that is too much as we have never claimed but my hubby said not to cancel as the moment we do something might happen

    btw lovely dog u have!

how old is your dog ?

might not be a good idea to cancel as it can be difficult to get insurances once your dog gets to a certain age, and thats probably when it will need medical care the most..

one of my sisters dogs had seen a specialist vet, and had tests done that cost £3000+ , she must have claimed well over £6000 in the last few years on insurance on just 1 dog.

my dog is alot better looking than that dog, face is thinner. but you can see, she looks nothing like a shar-pei. and she's twice the size and not 1 wrinkle on her
