Information on this area please?

Hi.

One of the forum members from here, and his wife in the Phils were very helpful indeed regarding information on a particular region of Cagayan De Oro.
I have been chatting on many occassions to a girl that I plan to meet from there, and just want to get peoples views on the region, habits of the locals, etc?

Cannot help you though about cagayan de oro stuff as i've never been there, but i'm sure many members here
who came from there would be able to share many inputs and ideas.....
But over all i think you have nothing to worry as filipinos are basically friendly and hospitable, whatever part of the country they come from,
so i'm sure you will be just fine....just enjoy your time and embrace the warm welcome

The City of Golden Friendship! I used to hang-out with my College friends in CDO when I was younger. The city must have changed much by now but I'm sure the people there are still friendly and warm. Goodluck Dave

Well, after all the other things that went on, which I wont go in to, like rude family members, when I was so nice, etc..... I think is time to make a fresh start, or what little hair I have left will fall out Lol
Merry Rose seems like a nice decent girl, asks for nothing in the material sense, really chatty, happy, intelligent, caring, gets all my daft jokes, you know, all the unimportant things in a relationship(joke)

me and fitzy had a long chat on the phone yesterday and as he said we asked the wife what sort of area his new girl comes from ,so the wife who is a cagayan city girl said thats a squatters area many snatchers robberys shabu the whole lot but i also told fitzy that does not mean your new girl is not a good one just be carefull take things slow.

apparently they are clearing a lot of that area for future development ???
i am starting to think already

Most of my life, I lived in Southall, after suffering a few years on the quality Chalk Hill estate in Wembley

Then I got myself out of School at 15, worked a little, coz we all had sweet FA, got myself in to Southall Tech, and now here I am control of the Radiocomms Systems, in all Five Heathrow Terminals, plus overseas
Engineering side of things!
Will be 20 years this march, and god willing, I will get at least another Five.

All I need now, is a nice girl, the most difficult thing of all to get, and a family, but then again, is what most ppl want right???

In Southall, we had a cheaper, not so up maket equivelant

For the last few years, I have risen above the gutter to Yeading Marina(Glencoe Development)
