Honestly, we use quite a lot of english words in Phils and sometimes we even forgot the meaning in our own dialect from english.

ie. i dont know what's in tagalog of cellphone. I knew telepono means telephone.
And Computer, Calculator, Ruler, Toothpaste ah too many to mention. You guys can help me to translate these?

Telephone etc is now part of taglish, gagamiting ko ang phone ng matagal etc, they always stick the odd english word in here and there

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

    Very true
And fitz, i suppose you can address Mr and Mrs to your letter as we normally do in the philippines, specially if it's a formal letter
    Just a suggestion though

    Hi Philip,

If you will make a correspondence in Filipino/Tagalog you can use Ginoo at Ginang (abbreviation: G. at Gng.) but if you will write in English, best to use Mr. & Mrs.
