hello everyone founf this forum very help with inf

i had in other thread here asking about this matter but now good news but just still want to ask or opinion from others here

the case that had been said which is judicial dispute resolution had been called and had been settled in City Court at last... and my question is

in applying the settlement visa do we need to mention it on the from which it ask this:

6.9 D Do you have any criminal convictions in any country
(including traffic offences)? Put a cross (x) in the relevant box
Date Country Offence Sentence
If ‘Yes’ please provide details
Yes No
6.10 H Have you ever been charged in any country with a criminal offence for which you have not yet been tried in court (including traffic offences

any opinion is greatly will be help as she is to be filling up her application form now..

In my opinion, it's best to be transparent and honest and not withhold any useful and crucial information about you.....
as they might find out about it eventually and might only lead to the delay of your application or worst denied, because you held back those information...

Just my opinion though, i'm sure many on here will be able to give you more accurate advise regarding this matter

i think its best to be honest and give as much detail to all the questions as possible because if they do make any checks,the visa will end up taking longer and having to explain yourself to them and why you didnt give the info to start with??

you have a point there ross, as the application form specifically ask for criminal offence which is entirely different or shall i say heavier than your judicial case....
however i'm not in the position to answer this accurately....
so i suggest you wait for other forumers here who are more knowledgeable and qualified to answer your question properly
or better yet, call the uk visa processing center hotline in the philippines to get the answers you need......

Hi Ross, technically you don't have to claim any civil cases because the questions clearly ask for criminal convictions.

thank you for that answer..yeah i think of that, just need more opinion here tham me asking lawyers who just need of money whenever you raise up question and then ask more mnoey when they know your foreigner wife

i think its best to give clear and honest details to anything about yourself,put all in your support letter backed up by paperwork.

thats what i did and we got our spouse visa in 6 weeks!

it was all settle and clear what i need to know is do we need to menbtion it on that form in settlement visa asking about offensing criminal case..which i think its not a criminal case anmd bside it only a very small bed debt thats all

i cant image why it will affect your visa,so why not give the information?

but it doesnt seem theres any requirement to give that information.

Ross, why not ask your gf to call the uk visa processing hotline in the philippines instead...
she can just use any pldt landline, dial 109 which is the operator and ask to be connected to the visa processing hotline....
that way she can clarify everything...just to be sure and for your peace of mind as well

yeah, i'd go for this (go girl! ). your girlfriend is obviously uncomfortable putting the details on the form (reading through the posts again). although as i've said, if you will read the form and go really technical then there's not a necessity. but for your full peace of mind, then better call the embassy, so you get the exact answer you need.
