Thanks for that Kimmi also My friend in Aberdeen phoned me asking about that today,I think his wife is just about to apply.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

The book I have is by Red Squirrel Publishing called British Citizenship Test Study Guide- the essential study guide for the Life in the UK test.It is second edition. Its 2005. Check the inner cover for when it was published ok?
Here are some example questions in the book:

What rights and duties do UK citizens have?

When did both men and women get the right to vote?

What is the current voting age and when was this set?
It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I'm all out of gum.

Ligaya is looking to take exam before our 2nd baby in October. she read chapters 2 to 6 twice, took an online practice exam and got 22 correct out of 24 (or 25) but the pass is 18 I think. I have always known she is bright but I do not think she is super brainy so don`t panic ladies it appears quite easy.

Hi Kimmi, where have you been ? practising cheer leading routines!!

    Hi mhic,
i know you can do it ading,
yes, they are the right books and i had them too but i am agree to "sarahlee" as what she said, that site helps me a lot. I finished all the 45 set of tests and so i am very confident before taking my exam and passed it easily.
    Keep on practicing ading, Goodluck!!!

Hi there, Scott here, I love the name Ligaya( Joy and happieness) although my honey prefers to use Joy. Before you can obtain your Indefinite Leave to Remain normally after 23 months here on spouse visa you need to have taken and passed the test.

Congratulations & *Very Well Done! And I really MEAN *this ... because, having perused samples of some of the multiple-choice questions asked, even I - as a Brit, born-and-bred - would be struggling to select enough right answers in order to achieve the high passmark of 70-odd percent [or more] needed!
