Two weeks ago when I phoned I think it was the 26th March.
Ours was submitted on the 16th April so we are now in week 14 also
Everyone keeps saying have patience but this seems like mental turture
is there nothing else we can do but wait?.
I will phone them Sunday or Monday coming and see if they will tell mw where they are up to.

They only take calls between 1 to 3 pm local time in Manila.
So calling from the UK is 6 to 8 am
I used Skype and call quality was good.
If you phone please try to find what date they are now processing?

i have the new 3 skype phone. best thing i ever bought. I will try on monday when i am off work. is this the embassy direct or vfs?
I'm considering delaying my flight by 6 weeks as a safety net. I allowed 16 weeks from submission but now might not be enough.

Hi, yes Skype is good, I call my wifes mobile phone with it.
I think the phone numbers are to the Embassy as they are handling them, but to be honest I am not sure.
We will not book a flight until we know, how long can this go on?

Good luck tomorrow everyone. lets hope for some good news. I saw on a thailand forum that about 5 or 6 couples got their visa yesterday, so lets hope for the same luck at the manila hub!!!

hello .....
i called again the embassy yesterday...and a woman answered me!!.....and she said they are still on a 26th of march application...and i said ..WOW the same answer when i called mid week of July...then she become quite...and she told me to call again on 1st week of august.....
i'm not satisfied about their answer now, my asawa also trying calling yesterday, they didn't answer and after 5 dials attempt, they get the phone and didn't answer ...just hang for seconds and put it back......ohhhhhhhh....
People - excuse me if ive missed the subject. Are we talking about any specific type of visas , or is it ALL visa's? (we are waiting for fiance visa).

There is definitely somthing wrong with what they are doing, I also phoned early in the 2nd week of July and was also told they were on the 26th March.
It does not look like they are progressing much does it.
Little Fingers, ours is a spousal settlement visa that was applied for on the 16th April.
Stedy For Now, please see what others say but I would think it best to apply as soon as you can to allow for the extended time they are taking!

Thats crazy! Still on 26th March?! There must have been some Q at the embassy on that day! I just dont understand the delay?
hey guys..i feel sorry for the long wait..but just a question..would you think it will be better for us to file our application earlier due to this dilemma so if ever i can fly with him back to UK by december?cos we are thinking of filing it early october but having all these fuss..im not sure if it will be possible to make our plans work..but the problem might be the length of time that we've been a couple?cause that will only give us 3 mos of communicating if we file it by sept..thanks..
