Peter & Love Mae in Bedford UK

Hi :-)

Not sure how we overlooked this Forum in the past as we have been here in England since 2004.

However, here we are now :-) I (Peter) am a planning consultant and Love Mae is .... erm.....well, many things really....brilliant wife, great Ate Love Mae to my daughter from a previous life, enthusiastic ebayer, fast cylist, a rolling kayaker, and also a brilliant photographer! Makes me feel a bit inadequate really!

We attend lots of Filipino gatherings from private parties to Bario Fiestas in Milton Keynes and Hounslow. (Dont miss the MK Barrio Fiesta at Campbell Park on the 25th & 26th July 2009).

I am not bad at photography but spend most of my time editing and enhancing Love Maes images from the many events she shoots at. We were at Housnlow last Sunday so if you were there take a look in our photo gallery and see if you can find yourself or someone you know. We just toook pictures of the public attending - lotsasmiles! :-)

Wow! What a friendly place this is! :-) Thanks one and all.

However, just a couple of things....

LadyJ, send me a pic of you and I will see what I can do for you :-) We are photographers so can do pretty much anything graphically.

Admin, I note you removed the link that I put in the first post here :-( These are simply images that people will enjoy so how else can I direct other Filipino's there? Can everyone see our website at least which is stated in our details? It is in the Festivals section there if you can.

Sorry we cant link people to this especially as one person here has already noted out photography skills from our Avatar :-(

If you intend to advertise your business on this site, have you remotely considered contacting admin and asking permission to do so...???

Mantaining the site for free, costs money, it relies on donations from members, and piggy-back private advertising is tantamount to taking the mickey....

I am sure that, if asked nicely and bribed accordingly, Admin would consider your request.

Peter & Love Mae. And Welcome to the forum! Living up here in Scotland, my wife Myrna and I don't often have the opportunity of attending Barrio Fiestas. But we DID manage to go along to one in Glasgow at the end of June. As it happened, it was Scotland's first-ever celebration of its kind ... and proved to be a great day out ... with over one thousand people in attendance. Roll-on next year's event which, I believe, will take place in the Scottish capital city of Edinburgh.

Hmmmmm seems Admin think we are advertising our business :-(.....hardly the case. However, you can see more about us on our home page and see we have a hobby in photography and you can see from our "about us" that I am a professional in another field.....oh look...one that I am NOT trying to advertise! Hmph!

This seems a great Forum for communication and for sharing things. I think its unfortunate that people are being bribed to subscribe so forget it, we will not try and share our pictures with the most picture crazy nation in the world lol. No big deal. Hope to find some nice folks here though.
