Very well said, Penny! Much better if the aggrieved party types a Private Message to the person offending him/her to convey how hurt he/she felt about the nature/content of the other's post ... rather than vent his/her
anger and frustration in "public". Overall, this would surely be a far more rational, mature and indeed, effective means of defusing the situation - without [unnecessarily] adding 'fuel to the fire'.
