Any one who had tried applying for a COA ( Certificate of Approval)?

    Hello All

I had submitted an appplication for a COA, wondering if any one from the forum who had done this before and how does it worked?

Hi Beth if you don't mind may I ask what's your visa status? Why you applied COA? I'm asking because I am a Fiancee visa holder and has a problem read my blog posted.

Can anyone enlighten about COA importance

CRITICIZING OTHERS IS A DANGEROUS THING, NOT SO MUCH BECAUSE YOU MAY MAKE MISTAKES ABOUT THEM, BUT BECAUSE YOU MAY BE REVEALING THE TRUTH ABOUT YOURSELF.

    Hi Leah,
COA stands for Certificate of Approval and it is what is required for someone who is already in the UK and is on different kind of visa such as student visa, to allow them to get married. This was I believe, introduced to stop so called "marriages of convenience", where people would marry a British citizens just to eneble them to stay in the UK. It doesn't apply to you because you already have approval to marry as your visa is a fiancee visa.

    Iain.
