The Scots don't need to fight the English anymore. They've got their own parliament now, through which they get a bigger share per head of the UK wealth than the English, Welsh and Northern Irish and on top of that both the PM and the chancellor are Scots, so you could say we've already conquered the English by stealth and they haven't even noticed yet.........
