The next time one of your pretenders to the Scottish Throne comes to my country with a begging bowl and and a request to help to fight the sassenachs he can take a running jump....

The Scots don't need to fight the English anymore. They've got their own parliament now, through which they get a bigger share per head of the UK wealth than the English, Welsh and Northern Irish and on top of that both the PM and the chancellor are Scots, so you could say we've already conquered the English by stealth and they haven't even noticed yet......... We're not daft.
