This is about the obtaining of British citizenship, not permission to live in the UK (though the two things are going to become more linked). And it's not about taking away the right to protest, but making it clear that anyone who wants to obtain British citizenship needs to behave themself and integrate into British life. Fair enough to some extentI think most will agree that people who move to this country only to get into trouble with the Police for whatever reason should not be given a one way ticket home.
However, It is worrying they are also saying this for people who protest? I too was angered by the mob who protested in Luton, but I would never dare to take away their right to do so...
