The date of birth as it needs to be entered: day 05 (if may) year

The track your application is on the left hand side of the page.
Hope this works for you, Mick.

    Perhaps

if you'd also included photos of your respective "his & Her" tattoos you'd have got the visa earlier LOL !

Only joking ..... but will be interesting to see the ECO's response time to Pumpkin's innovative application !

My best wishes to you all ...... CONGRATULATIONS.

Is there a difference between your application being 'ready for collection' and it has been 'returned to the courier'??

Yes- if it says "ready for collection" you have to go to VFS to pick it up as you didn't paid for courier service when applying.
"Processed, returned to courier" means it will be delivered by Aboitiz2GO courier as a confidential package in a few days...

Depends on if he paid for the courier service when he submitted his visa application at VFS. My Maricel lives in Makati and we paid for it as we thought it is more comfortable and it wasn't so much money on top of the visa fee...
Check this link: VFS - additional services

Depends on where is she from - if she lives in Metro Manila or around it is usually the next day, for more remote province you need to add from day to three days...
Just tell her to be at home to pick it up personally as the courier WON'T give it to anybody else - even if they present valid ID of that person...
Thanks to this policy we "missed" one day as my Maricel been working when they tried to deliver it for the first time. So today she took off to wait for the courier...
Good luck, hope the result is positive
Looks like we have a week of good news on the forum now

Talking Jennifer has picked up her visa from the embassy

    Hi, all
Just to say Jennifer has been to the embassy and picked up her passport and Visa, and proudly showed me it on the web cam, and if arranging to go for the CFO on Monday.
And we are hoping she will fly here early September.
Thanks again for all your support.
    Mick.

Hi Mick - congratulations, well done, glad to hear that everything is OK
About CFO - is she going to counselling session in Cebu or Manila? Just asking because from what I've seen on their web I've got the impression that seminars for UK are held just Tuesdays and Thursdays in Manila...

    Hi Ji&Ma,
She said she was going to stay in Manila and go on Monday, I will warn her that it could be Tuesday but I do not think it will affect her to stay anouther night.
Thanks for letting us know, it will help.

A heartiest congratulations to you Mick and Jennifer

And have a safe trip to your lovely wife
It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good to check up once in a while to make sure you haven't lost the things that money can't buy.

It is weird - because as far as I understand following link the seminars (Guidance and Counselling sessions) are done just Tues and Thurs for UK...

CFO - Guidance and Counselling requirements and schedules

My Maricel is going there Tues anyway - so doesn't matter too much...

    YEEEHAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

Sooooooooooooo HAPPPYYYYYYY!!!! Thanks MRS Major for this whole thread and i hope this thread carries on for AGES!!!!! (you should christen it with your name somehow as youre the birth mother to this thread!!!)

    i have one question,

Now that the missus has her very important little sticker (Visa) in her passport, and as she has already been to and worked in Dubai, does she still have to get the CFO sticker?

What are the next steps apart from booking flights and getting on your booked flight?

    THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MICK, havent said a proper well done since you officaially posted, so.... well done and congrats!!!

everyone else who is waiting, your time will come (sooner than for us aprilians i hope!!!) At the end of the waiting is a massive awesome feeling so hold on to that thought!!!!

Take it easy and I shall speak to you in a bit!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Rob&Lol, Ji & Maricel, and Mick and Jennifer. Let's all have a party!

CFO is everyday, Ji. Tell Maricel to call first coz the offices have varied requirements. Their website is not updated.
    Faith makes all things possible.
