Mrs just arrived from Manila..She met up with her Mum again who is no way political or even holds political a view.. Poor most of her life she seems very happy with Gloria..Reckons the woman has given more to the poor and elderly than any other President she can remember..She says Phil health has never been as good as it is now and her new old age state pension is something that could never have been relied on before..My bro in law was in hospital for a week last month in a private room and Philhealth paid 50% of the total bill...Philhealth costs 1500PHP per year and your immediate family are all covered.This was unheared of before.
She says she has NEVER received so much free rice is her life from the Barangay system and she can never remember so many new roads being constructed throughout the country at one time..
I have to agree with this bit..We have road works and bridge works in abundance here in Bohol..The cost for the bridges alone is 58 Million..Not only national roads but barangay roads are being tarmacked..
My mother in law is a quiet reserved person...Her quiet voice has no chance of being heared amongst the paid rabble demonstrating there in Manila grasping their yellow ribbons.
More than anything,this country needs stability with only a year left before proper elections...
The families orchestrating to destabilize this country are not only anti poor but damned traitors IMO..
