In my opinion you actually need kind of "letter of support" from your hubby - explaining your situation and circumstances, including finances and accommodation...
Here is one good example: "My letter of sponsorship" (courtesy of Belmontboy)
It is letter of support for fiancée visa but I think it can be amended according to your needs...
